OPENING CEREMONY SANDALS
I have a tendency to wear my shoes into the ground. Once I get into the habit of wearing one pair of shoes on a daily basis, they don't stand a chance. This explains why I have three pairs of shoes currently in my closet with holes in the soles that I continually swear I'll have resoled one day (yeah right) and have had to toss a number of shoes that I wore past the point of no return. Luckily, I still have six months of rainy, cold weather before I have to worry about replacing my favorite Opening Ceremony sandals. Instead, I'm on the hunt for a new pair of cold weather flats.

I am the complete opposite with all I own. I have no letting go issues. Unless it's like a pair of Chanel's. The way I look at it...you get rid of things to make room for new things.

I have so many shoes that need re-sole-ing it's kind of ridiculous now. I wear shoes to the point of no repair too, it's such a bad habit but I hate to let them go =( xoxo
interesting picks!

I know this doesn't really need saying but I can't help myself. Take them to a cobbler now! Seriously, when the damage gets too severe there's nothing that can be done, but you can still save your loved ones! (I know, I know, sartorial melodrama, but I've been there, it hurts.)

noooooooo! i always take mine to derek's shoe repair on broadway & washington for a protective sole and heel caps. it's like $20 and totally worth it! i destroy my heel caps within weeks but it's only $3 to change them. totes recommend those guys, i trust them with all my shoes!
I tend to wear the same shoes constantly as well. I might as well buy two pairs when I like them that much haha

I feel you. I had to say goodbye to my fave pair of Jeffrey Campbell's a month ago. I still have them though, I'm considering peeling the pony hair off and paint them or even draw on them. I find the blank canvas kind of exciting!
great blog! i'm a new follower.

Leather handbags at present come in numerous styles and patterns. Ever since the animal skin turned out to be a lot more hard to find post WWI, makers of leather handbags advanced from basic leather to a combination of various materials with natural leather. That resulted in the various types of Lanvin Bag which were manufactured for ladies and also gentlemen. These days Leather is being used more artistically by incorporating it with different varieties of materials, Microfibre increasingly being one of these. In such handbags, leather is required sometimes only in the frames or just the fringes that dangle beautifully from the Lanvin Handbag. These alterations in handbags got a very good reaction from most people and are generally continuing until date.

I really recognize that.
I'm so happy that you come back!
Love from Poland.
Definitely worth getting resoled if you find a good cobbler! I am the same way and I managed to find a brilliant guy in the little town where my parents live. He has made shoes that were on the verge of falling apart completely look brand new. If you love them, definitely invest in getting them resoled! Saves a lot of money in the long run, too.
