ANEW

"You'll understand when you've forgotten what you understood before." -Italo Calvino, t zero

Spent the last days of August on a road trip along the Oregon and California coastlines with Sarah and Stephanie. Starting in Portland, we passed through Eureka, Napa and Point Reyes, eventually ending in LA. These photos are from our drive through the Redwoods State Park south of Eureka. Nothing like a forest full of thousand year old giants to make you feel miniscule.

After coming home it feels like a good time to start fresh.

So incredibly dreamy. Almost unreal. Lucky you to experience that nature in real life! The photos are wonderful, I can only imagine the tactile experience...

So incredible *_* No idea if it's just a good camera or if the colors are actually that lush irl.

That's you in the second photo, right?

Did you see any woodland creatures? That's my favourite part. Also love that quote, it matches my day exactly.

Glad that you are back. Was a fan since the beginning. A little sad that you deleted all the old posts since those bring back memories of how I felt when I read those posts. And wonderful pictures as always. Looking forward to the 'fresh' Childhood Flames.

so incredibly beautiful. I passed on a trip to sequoia national forest a month ago because I was pretty sure I would get sick on the drive up. so wondering if the drive to the redwoods was any bad?

Are these from your film camera??

I just got my film developed too! Only I forgot one roll, which I found a couple days later, and I just turned it in for processing today. Excited to show them to you! :)
