PLUGS FOR THE NONCOMMITTAL

These new Estelle Dévé x TFC earrings arrived at the TFC studio a few days ago. Magnetic black crystal pearl earrings that resemble gauges from a few feet away. Both classic and a little weird, they've got me rethinking the lack of jewelry in my life.

Lots of exciting things in the works at The Fashion Club, actually! We've got a brand new shop site up (courtesy of yours truly) with three new styles for sale and more on the way.

HELLO AGAIN

I'm back in Los Angeles– this time indefinitely! Couldn't stay away. Say hi, tell me about cool things happening or show me around. :)

CLOSET VISIT

Boessert Schorn coat / Levi's jeans / Dieppa Restrepo loafers

Wood Wood dress / Nike Lunar Flyknits

A few weeks ago I did a quick closet visit with Portland Supply Co. These two outfits have been my mainstays this winter. Easy and comfortable. Like Cathy Horyn says, "there's a surprising amount of harmony in unremarkable choices.".

FRESH FACES

Grace Bol, Drake Burnette and Riley M photographed by Daniel Jackson for i-D Magazine, styling by Alastair McKimm

Love this casting story from i-D Magazine featuring some old and new faces. My favorite kind of fantastical styling of dewy skin and low, low-cut tops (or none at all). Not even a tiny bit practical or appropriate for daily wear, but nipples are so fashion.

I JUST WANNA RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE

Earthwork by Robert Morris, Johnson Pit #30

Like I mentioned in my previous post, the year is already rapidly flying by. I turned 21 yesterday and I'm not quite sure how the date snuck up on me so quickly. It feels like it was New Year's Eve just last week, when I drove up to Seattle with great friends for dim sum, Totokaelo and book shopping. Arlo Guthrie playing on the radio as we detoured into Kent along the way to run all around this incredible Earthwork until we were exhausted and starving. Even though by the time we got home I was so tired that I only managed to stay awake to see the first few minutes of the new year, it was the best way I could imagine ending and beginning the year.
