Buena Vista Summer 2013
Another new line that I'm all about. Handmade in small editions by Ava Kaufman (who I had the pleasure of meeting last summer while passing through Point Reyes), this first collection from Buena Vista is incredibly strong and inexplicably thrilling. Each piece feels steeped in the present: carefully crafted with quiet details. You would pass a girl wearing Buena Vista without much thought but she would stick in your mind all day long.
