REAL
(yarn, fieldguided calendar, anthropologie candle, zine from nsew press, baggu zip pouches)
Since cleaning up and reorganizing my room last week I've gone a little crazy browsing Etsy and other home goods shops online for pretty things to decorate my room with and take up space on my desk when I really should be getting rid of more things. As long as it's just browsing I guess...

It's finally Friday! Time to Netflix Instant some Spongebob Squarepants and nap the weekend away. Ah, the thrilling life of a blogger.

MISC

Old outfit photo from earlier this year. I'm wearing a Converse One Star jacket, Harputs Own vest, F21 tee, CDG skirt and thrifted boots.

Yummy sandwiches from Grilled Cheese Grill.
Current knitting project. I still need to knit the sleeves and attach them but I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out considering I'm not using a pattern for reference. It's a miracle that it's not a completely misshapen mess. Do any knowledgeable knitters have some tips on how to keep the edges from curling when doing a stockinette stitch without having to add a border?

ROCKET

I'm still getting the hang of gardening (a couple plants haven't survived my black thumb) but one thing that has managed to grow without incident aside from a few pesky snails and slugs is this arugula. I harvested a big bowl's worth of leaves today and ate them with some mushroom risotto. Super yummy. Lettuces seem to be the easiest thing or at least the quickest to get growing so I want to plant a couple more varieties, but hopefully my pea and tomato plants will start yielding some veggies soon as well.
Meanwhile Jem has been snacking on the leaves from the pea plant.
