MONDAY FUNDAY

Pleasure Principle dress.

Up at 5am starting a paper that's due in 3 hours. I procrastinated on school work all weekend, so what's another 10 minutes putting together this post? Happy Monday y'all.

GREEN THUMB/BLACK THUMB

Photos from the Selby.

On Tuesday, Portland got a much needed dose of sunshine. I spent two hours pulling weeds, turning over my compost and making room for some raised beds so I can actually make my gardening dreams come true by starting a small vegetable garden this summer. Urban gardening and self-sustainable, organic farming have been of particular interest to me lately, so seeing this feature of the Eagle Street Rooftop Farm in New York was really inspiring. I've also been dreamily lurking WWOOF whenever I have a spare moment. One day I'd love to be able to keep chickens and bees but I should probably focus on getting some plants in the ground before I get too ahead of myself.

MID-WEEK BLUES

I remember posting about Fabrics Interseason back when I first started this blog, but they had altogether fallen off my radar until I came across some of their spring stuff online at Stand Up Comedy and Triple Major.

The blue (denim?) patchwork pieces in particular are my favorites.

BOESSERT SCHORN

Incredible new Boessert Schorn coat.

For the past few months I've been in a rut and too exhausted by and unenthusiastic about fashion to really put much of an effort into blogging or even reading
other blogs, but I think that's starting to change. Sometimes you just need a break from the constant stream of visual stimuli that ends up melding together in
your head anyway. And with the same images (or types of images) often being repeated over and over it can become a little tedious.

Since my last outfit posts I also chopped off about 8 inches of my hair. This was the goal but uh, home haircuts never really turn out as expected.
