Looking at these photos now is sorta bumming me out. Several weeks ago, Portland was treated to gorgeous, nearly 70 degree weather.
Since then we've had some nicer, rainless days here and there but overall it's been a pretty dreary couple of weeks. I am in need of some
serious sunshine therapy.

MISCELLANEOUS

Even though I'm still stuck eating soft foods, I had the urge to make pizza yesterday (probably as a result of following too many food
blogs). So today I picked up some ingredients and used this recipe as a loose guide. While I myself can't say whether or not it was any
good, it was devoured by my mom and sister in a matter of minutes.

ps. I love how this post is the only one on the front page with color.

I started getting that itch to make things again (probably as a result of sitting around at home for so long), so I started a little do-it-
yourself project involving some faux leather and an old pair of pants. At the time I hadn't realized I was going to have to hand-stitch
everything but three days and a couple bloodied fingers later, it's finally finished. Photos of the final product soon!
