Time for a Saturday afternoon round of dress up! I'm looking forward to when I can actually wear these outfits out of the
house without freezing to death but knowing Portland weather I've still got several months to go. Also hoping to get back
into wearing skirts/dresses more often, especially long ones. I haven't worn anything but jeans for at least a month.




Plus, yesterday's lunch from The Grilled Cheese Grill. Again, sorry for the cell phone shot. I need to remember to bring
my camera with me next time...

I finally got around to buying a remote control for my camera (this one in case you're wondering) after hemming and
hawing over purchasing one for at least a year. I never thought I needed one but since I've started using it, I can't imagine
going back to that tedious 10 second timer and having to walk back and forth between each photo. It's made being a closet
narcissist easier than ever. No one has to know that I just spent 10 minutes taking pictures of myself in my room. $13 well
spent, I'd say.

Frances May
I shot these back in November when The Stylish Wanderer was in town but like most of my photos, ended up forgotten until I cleaned out my memory card a couple days ago. I thought a little shop profile would be a good change of pace from repetitive outfit posts. :)

I think I've mentioned Frances May several times before here on the blog and for good reason, it's one of my favorite boutiques in Portland. Although not exactly in line with my aesthetic at the moment, I'm always interested in seeing what Frances May has in store each time I visit. My uniform this week. I didn't have much time today so I just took a quick video. Over winter break I lived in my pajamas and was always wrapped up in a blanket but classes have started again so I'm forced to find some way to stay warm. I 'stole' this coat out of my mom's closet a week or two ago and haven't taken it off since. Super cozy.
Also, thoughts on dying the boots black? I originally intended on have them dyed when I purchased them, but their silver-y, metallic color has grown on me and I kind of love them now. Still undecided...
