I can't be sure exactly when as I've lost all sense of time, but recently Audrey e-mailed me with photos from her new collection, Salem. Some of you may remember this post a while back in which I wore one her designs, the asymmetric leather vest. This newest collection is beautifully moody, with lots of very organic, easy shapes, asymmetry and luxe fur. One part spooky forest dweller, one part cool it-girl. I feel like all that's missing from these photos is fog covering the ground.

Earlier today I met up with The Stylish Wanderer who was back in Portland for Thanksgiving for a bit of catching up and wandering around downtown. Since she's moved down to LA I've been without a Portland blogger buddy. We spent most of our time meandering through Powells looking for ideal spots to take photos (which proved surprisingly difficult with people everywhere) and browsing their fashion section. A little something from New Yoak City
Lately, that little voice that whispers, "You need this." whenever I do some 'harmless' online window shopping has been reduced to next to nothing. However, when I first saw this Oak coat back in September, that voice was loud and clear. Drapey, asymmetric goodness with extra long sleeves AND pockets? What more can a girl ask for? After cursing myself for missing out on getting one for myself then in September, the lovely Miss Laia helped me get my hands of one when Oak restocked them earlier this month.
