What I wore today for Father's Day brunch and to bum around Target. The other day I had an odd craving for color on my lips so I stopped in Sephora and found this perfect shade of lipstick (Nars Heat Wave). It's actually a bit more orange in person, which I love. Sort of reminds me of the shade they used at Dries for F/W. I've actually been thinking of getting a full on, obnoxiously bright shade of orange too. Any suggestions?
Also, this week I'll be volunteering at the Humane Society so I'll be pretty much absent from the blog. Just a heads up. :)

Wow i love the lips, I have to say that bright lipstick is fun because you can just swipe it on, and put on mascara and you are done. No primping needed. And yes get the orange, because if you can pull it off then do it. But people may...ask you what you were eating or something.

cle de peu makes the best bright red and the best bright orange. i think the red is 6 and the orange 26. they don't look bright till you try them on. its the best lipstick, lasts forever and isn't at all drying. x

I've been wearing heat wave for a long time! Glad you found the beauty of Nars' color palette. Heat Wave can be a little dry at times, try the fat pencil Red Square (though not every counter will carry it) or So Chaud from MAC. They are my signatures.

impeccable outfit. you could try morange lipstick from mac, it's an excellently pigmented orange. when going for an orange lipstick consider a lip pencil in a complimentary shade to prevent bleeding around the edges of the lips.
this is probably the greatest outfit... ever. i adore your style.
