heather grey

This particular photo of Ashley Olsen has been in my mind for a good two months, all the while willing me to make a heather grey maxi skirt of my own. Now that I've got a bit more free time on my hands I gave it a go this morning. It's kind of perfect with this powder blue Clu tee I picked up at Frances May yesterday afternoon. Portlanders, definitely check this store out. They carry Rachel Comey, Alexander Wang, Clu, Duskin and APC to name a few. Here's the link to their online shop too.

Oh my! I love it! You look amazing in it! I think I may have to give this a try myself! Did you just use a stretch cotton jersey? And cut it pretty much straight down or did you taper it?

that is a lovely lovely skirt. though since im short, im always afraid to wear things so long that i might just melt into it. it wont be me wearing the clothes but rather the clothes wearing me. but since this skirt, and the skirt ashley is wearing looks so nice, i think im gonna find a pair. you should make some more skirts with an inseam of 27". heh.
