3.19.09

Well, I'm finally finished with finals (hayyy alliteration... sorry, I really shouldn't be allowed to speak until I get some sleep) which means it's spring break for me. Thank god. Here's what I wore to give a presentation and finish my last final of the term.

McQueen for Target mesh cardigan, F21 tank, AA pencil skirt, thrifted boots

p.s. These detail shots from Dries are too good not to mention.
This is how color is done.

Gawd, those clips are fantastic....... yup, I'm in love :) :) :) :)
Wow, I could never wear that short of a skirt to my finals. I'm too demure for that

Wow, I have boots that are nearly identical to those! Mine have buttons on them and look like Victorian granny boots. Love it!

Outfit is adorable, I love the blue and black combination. Random question, and sorry for coming off as a bit creepy - how old are you? In New York we're not anywhere near spring break and we don't have finals until June. Love your hair up, btw.

color so good it hurts

The mesh cardigan looks good. I was considering getting it...so hard to tell with Target's horrible styling.

And Dries oh Dries, not sure color has ever been done better. I'm tempted to find a way to pin my hair like that.

I COMPLETELY agree about colour. That is exactly how it should be done. Love it.

oooh, girl, that skirt is a bit short for a school presentation, non? more of a non-skirt really.

good to have you back, though.

You do casual, like, perfectly.

Oh, and people should chill about her outfit being inappropriate for the presentation. The girl goes to a highschool, I can bet my entire shoe collection that the other girls were wearing denim minis and tank tops that showed tonns of cleavage.

yay! final free is the way to be!

nice collection. Nice colors. I could use some more color in my wardrobe.

labelleetlaitgirl, she doesn't go to high school, she takes classes at a community college. And just because other 16 year olds are wearing inappropriate clothes when trying to be taken seriously doesn't mean she should.

IMHO, when you're doing a presentation (especially for finals), the last thing you want your fellow students and professor thinking about is your clothes.

Nicole Then said...

congrats! can't wait for my hols too. and those shoes are nice, can't believe they're thrifted! good find ;)

Bridgette G. said...

so have been craving that cardigan ever since I laid eyes on it. nice choice. :)

Those boots are perfect. Thank goodness finals are over!

Roxana said...

Though it's a really cute everyday outfit, I'm not sure I'd wear it to a presentation...but, I'm in college so maybe it's a bit different.
And I'm surprised at how cute/comfy that cardigan is!

Non Faux said...

HOW RANDOM.
I've got those same EXACT boots!
thrifted, too.
