i commend you camille for doing this. i could never post a video of myself for the world to see. yes, it definetly needed some work. but it was your first time. i think it is really important to have a plan before begining to record. have a sheet of paper near you with bullet points of what you are going to talk about. have articles of clothing that you can hold up and talk about. maybe have video segements modeling what to wear to certain occasions, how to accessorize, etc....definetly cut back on the ums, sos and LOOK INTO THE CAMERA! i can't wait to see the next installment!

I couldn't even get through the whole video. I forget how young you are sometimes but this video just reminded me. I agree with everyone that you should've written out a script. The constant umms make you sound like an idiot (which I'm assuming your not). You need to become more eloquent in your speech. If your not comfortable doing video posts than don't do them! I have always found it hard to contemplate your age because you look so sophisticated in your style and even just in your features.
I'm pretty sure at the age of 15, my hair was a big red triangle and I wore horrible things, and looked awful and curveless in clothes.

However this is life and when someone decides to post pictures or videos negative and positive comments come with it so there is absolutely no point in people saying "well don't watch it if it was boring" because it makes no sense. For an individual to know something is boring they need to watch it all, how can someone criticise or commend it without watching the video in its entirety. People are in tilted to their opinion be it negative or positive, an individual could easily get just s angry with you positive comments as easily as you get angry with their negative.
so i'm guessing everyone who hates camille's video has a blog and made videos themselves that were soooo interesting and awesome and had great editing and kept us at the edge of our seats? uh NO. this video shows what camille's personality is like and that's part of who she is/her style. why should you expect camille to be so amazing at "public speaking" just because she dresses well? she's human, she's not a perfect celebrity or famous model which is how some of you guys act which is kind of creepy actually..she's a 15 year old girl who likes fashion. give her a break!

It's your first vloh & you're a youngin - try not to take the criticisms on here too harshly. There is some constructive advice in there but I think my main piece of advice would be to watch your vlogs after you've recorded them. Thats check edit kind of tool is the what I use most when I type blog.. I read my article out loud & edit anything that seems to lengthy or take out unneccesary word/sentances. I do not think your still getting the point Firstly your statement is a generalisation and certainly one that doesn’t apply to me! I love Camille Blog. But fail to understand why people still think that only positive comments should only be posted. Yes we get the fact that your here to show some support, if anything your statements says more about your character than it does anyone else’s it is a reflection of how you think the world goes round (with sugar and spice and all things nice) we are in reality and the fact is Camille is not the first to receive criticism and certainly will not be the last for something (I thought was great).

If you want to be of service don’t feel the need to judge the negative comments however nasty they may have been , the most hysterical thing about all this is that people like you are the sole reason that that one individual has come back and posted about a million times so if anything you stupidly have been adding fuel to the fire, doing no one a service.

oh and hun... as for all the nasty comments i know it's hard to look past the bad and concentrate on the good, but keep in mind the BEST bloggersk, Rumi and Lulu and Susie, etc. have the MOST hate followers... it just means they're jealous of your style and talent something they wish they had... and none of them seem to be brave enough to post who they really are... so they clearly lack bravery and hide behind their computer screens. sillyness

But most definately, when you get people opposing you and criticising you, you're definately going in the right direction. You're doing SO well. Just look at how many comments you recieve. Good or bad, you still get noticed.
If you've come this far at the age of only 15, imagine where you'll be in the next 5-10 years or so. :)

julie r: sorry, just to clear things up - by criticism, i meant hateful/hurtful criticism. there are many ways to say smth to help someone, without being "sugar and spice" OR nasty, yet still help the person improve. dunno how you came to all these conclusions about me from that one simple sentence i wrote, but sure.
either way, that comment was meant to show support to camille, not for uhh... other readers to rubbed the wrong way by it. Sooo... umm... GO CAMILLE! lol.
To Camille, both positive and negative comments should be taken with a grain of salt, this is the real world after all.

wtf yeah i read all these comments and i agree. please, go look in the mirror. to imagine that your face is attractive.... flabbergasts me. your legs and body may be skinny but, hey, who doesn't have skinny legs? almost all the girls i know do, and they don't claim they're hot if their faces look like crap.

ok the cleft lip and the nose comment? just plain horribly insulting. i really hate to see someone shoot down a very brave first attempt at vlogging. i'm sure you're entitled to your personal opinions but so are we. if we think she's cute, who are you to judge?
now, whoever you are, i'm sure you're a deity of some sort and everyone simply worships you. she isn't perfect. neither is anyone of us here. but that didn't stop her from being brave enough to do something she thought would be fun for her readers, did it?
so it wasn't perfect. but i say, so what? first attempts usually aren't. if your first attempts were successful, kudos to you. i (and tons of people here) admire her style and guts.
