note my pet bearded dragon, Jem, hanging out by the vase. :)

closeup of headchain. i'm not quite ready for the mushroom-hair effect of wearing the headchain across the forehead, so i've been wearing it in a kind of halo meets headband spot. i'll graduate to full-on headchain soon enough though.

thrifted blazer, aa tank, old cut-offs, timex watch, diy headchain courtesy of lulu

also, today for kicks i filled in my eyebrows. my natural eyebrows are really thin, wispy and practically non-exsistance, from far away it's difficult to tell if i have eyebrows at all. i've always envied those with a really thick natural brow and this whole strong brow trend on the runway's is killing me. i don't normally wear much makeup day-to-day but i may start investing in some brow plumping products soon...

the headchain is sweet, and haha, jem is so cute!

Bah - my eyebrows are really sparse too. I use the Chanel brow kit (available at Saks) which comes with powder and wax. Better than a pencil cos it looks much less severe and unnatural. Good stuff!

the shorts and blazer combo looks amazing! very fresh and elegant!

also love the way you're wearing the headband, I've always found it tricky to wear those without messing up my hair!

i wish you would smile more in ur picturessss !

i agree! smile! have you ever shown your teeth?

I have the biggest brows imaginable. The only person who can tame them well is my mother - she tweezes them for me to a healthy hefty natural brow.

I've always been jealous of people with sparse brows, less upkeep! Tweezers are painful =\

The chain is really nice, it has a subtle, sort of delicate feel even though it's made of metal. Juxtaposition is always cool!

i like the headchain the way it is positioned. I'm not too fond of the mushroom look lol.
oh and maybe you can look into dying your brows? i dont think there is anything which will plump. then again if your under 18 there is still chance you will get hairier lol. but for now i think brow darkening is a possible solution.

I absolutely can not believe how young you are! You have such incredible style... at your age I was in fluro shirts and baggy jeans. Fab headchain, btw.

The headchain is lovely!

I featured you on my blog the other day and everybody thought you were a model! Also, to quote one wannabe ghetto guy, "that girl got some really long legs lol" I agree!

i soo completely know what you mean
my eyebrows are barely existant too and my right one is darker then my left but the right one is cover by my bangs anyways, so it just looks like nothing lol
and sometimes i wear my headband is the position you do
i made a braided one out of random pieces of clothe.

Aaaah yay you look fabulous in it! Yeah I was going to just make it myself for you, but I didn't know what to measure it at so I just decided to let you do it yourself.

I dig the way you wear it. Rumi is waiting for me to experiment with diy body chains next. Hmmmm you down for a prototype? ;)

Great pet. I have chinchillas so they're a step away from normal pet-dom too. Anyway, just added you to my blogroll.

i have a similar headband and understand exactly what you mean when you describe the "mushroom" effect, ha ha ha! however, i have progressed to that stage of wear and love it, and hope you make it too: i think ti will suit you!

you have such amazing legs!

i love when jem makes an appearance in the pix. used to be just the tail. something is geting over being camera shy. lol.

headchain looks fine where you have it. across the forehead is just too "wonder woman catoon-esque" imo.
